This artistic fundraiser features student and professional artists' work in the form of decorated piggy banks.  Those piggies are in local businesses around town through April 30th waiting for you to visit and feed them with a donation.  Send us a picture of you or your child with one of these adorable Pigs to info@beniciaeducationfoundation.org and we will post on our Facebook wall. On Friday May 17th the BEF will host a silent auction during the BEF Spring Celebration at the Benicia Memorial Veteran's Hall, bidding is between 6-8PM.  Thank you to our artists for their time and creativity and Artcentric for their generous sponsorship of the Parade of Pigs 4 Kids.

Valero and Praxair Award the BEF

The BEF was the proud recipient of two recently received charitable contributions. On November 7th the BEF was awarded $25,000 from the Valero Benicia Refinery through the Valero Texas Open and Benefit for Children Golf Classic (For more view PDF). In addition Praxair awarded the BEF a $3500 grant in late November. Thank you to both of these corporation for the support of our Benicia schools.
