The Board of Directors of the BEF are all volunteers. They are all dedicated Benicia citizens who together represent a wide set of stakeholders in the Benicia community: BUSD parents, Benicia businesses and citizens without children in Benicia's public schools. Our directors belong to many organizations in the community, including the Chamber of Commerce,  Benicia Youth Action Coalition, the Rotary Club, Lions Club, and many more. The Board is elected by BEF members for two-year staggered terms; elections for open seats are held each May during the BEF Annual Meeting.
