Our public schools in Benicia are grossly underfunded. Our children receive far less funding than their peers around the state of California and the nation. As a matter of fact, we are at the very bottom of the list due to no fault of our district, but because of the politics in Sacramento. As a result, our educators must make difficult choices between which programs and services they can, or cannot, provide. Your financial support to our district through the Benicia Education Foundation will save programs and services.
