Board Meetings Always Open to the Public

All meetings are open to the public so feel free to join us!

Benicia Education Foundation Board:

President: Neely Silberman VP Fundraising: Donnie McCleskey Treasurer: Don Glidewell, Secretary: Nicole Anderson, Teacher Representative- Suzanne James-Peters

School Representatives: BHS- Darrell Doi, BMS- Amber Kelly, Matthew Turner- Jennifer Largaespada, Mary Farmar- Chelsea Whitney,  Robert Semple and Joe Henderson – VACANT

There are normally 5 full BEF board meetings a year, held in August, October, January, March and May.   The board meeting schedule for the 2017-2018 school year:

August 14th 2017,  October 16th, January 22nd 2018, March 12th, May 14th

Executive board meets

September, November 27,  February 26 and April  16th 2018


All meetings will be held at Benicia Schools or District Office at 7:00PM

In addition to regular meetings, the BEF holds executive board and committee meetings and other special meetings when needs arise.

The BEF welcomes anyone who is a current resident of Benicia, Benicia business owner, or school district member or employee to seek election to the Board of Directors. Please contact us by email under the volunteer page to express your interest or give us a call.  Currently we are looking for school site representatives at all schools.  Your voice matters!
